Intercessory Prayer Center
You can volunteer to spend one hour a week praying for the needs of others. This ministry provides the opportunity to pray for the needs of the children at Children’s Hospital, for missionaries serving around the world, for the daily needs of the congregation, and for the needs listed from the Sunday School classes.
Praying for Others
The Intercessory Prayer room is located on the 1st floor of the West Building. This ministry provides an opportunity for volunteers to pray one hour a week during a scheduled time to pray on behalf of the needs of the church. Prayer needs come from Sunday School prayer requests, worship prayer requests, Children’s Hospital, missionary prayer needs, military prayer needs, as well as, prayer needs given to the Intercessory Ministry through the church staff and the prayer phone line. There are current time slots available to participate in this prayer ministry. If you have an interest to pray for the needs of others in a systematic effort then please contact Todd Harrington at (205) 871-7324 or email@example.com.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Meeting
Tuesdays at 6:40 a.m., in the Gathering Room in the North Building. This 40 minute informal prayer time uses a very simple format. We take prayer requests, divide into small groups and pray, read verses of scripture and then leave to minister to the world in Jesus’ name.
In the small groups, praying audibly is optional as some individuals may choose to pray silently. This is for adults of all ages and concludes each Tuesday at 7:20 am. In the session you may arrive or depart at any time as it is an informal gathering of God’s people whose only purpose for meeting is prayer.
First Floor West, open for prayer anytime you are at Dawson.
