“Water That Quenches Our Every Thirst”

John 4

This week, Pastor David walked us through Jesus’ conversation with the woman at the well. In his introduction to the passage, Pastor David said, “We are all here (at Dawson) because someone had a Gospel-centered conversation with us.”

Reread John 4 as you consider these questions.

  • Who shared Gospel-centered conversations with you? Describe how those conversations helped you meet Jesus.
  • In 10, 20 or 30 years, will anyone say that YOU were the person that shared Gospel-centered conversations with them? Why or why not?
  • Have you ever intentionally gone out of your way to have a Gospel-centered conversation? Will you pray for the opportunity to do that this week?
  • What places of hurt (i.e. physical needs) could you meet for someone you see regularly?
  • How might you expect and prepare for someone to try to change the direction of a Gospel-centered conversation?

In your time with God this week,

  1. Thank Him for the people that had Gospel-centered conversations with you!
  2. Ask God to show you people that are hungry to hear from Him. Be willing to start Gospel-centered conversations with those He shows you.
  3. Commit to becoming equipped to have Gospel-centered conversations by making plans to attend THE STORY Training at Dawson.
