While prayer is universally accepted as one of the most important Christian disciplines, many Christians neglect, misunderstand, or only pray as a last resort in times of desperation.  One of the misunderstandings that contributes to both the neglect and misuse of prayer is assuming that prayer is just talking to God and hoping for the best.  This misunderstanding suggests that prayer is simple and easy.  Prayer is simple, but prayer is not easy.  During this series, we will examine biblical teachings on prayer and the different kinds of prayer.  As a result of the series, we want people to:  Know how to pray in faith regarding the different dimensions of life.  Be in fellowship and relationship with God to whom they are praying and do the work of praying in faith daily.
