Randy Poe

Randy was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised on the mission field in Chile, South America.  He attended Samford University, graduating in 1994 with a degree in Business Administration and Political Science.  Since 2005, Randy has served as a volunteer in the Dawson Hispanic Congregation as the Student Minister for Middle School, High School and College ministries.  Randy is committed to raising up a new generation of disciples by building relationships with students.  In addition to his passion for student ministry, Randy has a first-hand knowledge and understanding of the importance of missions in reaching a lost world for Christ.  Randy’s love for people of all languages and cultures, as well as his diverse background, brings a unique perspective to the Dawson Missions Team.  Regarding the Great Commission (Go and Tell) and the Greatest Commandment (Love God and others) Randy believes you can’t have one without the other.  Randy speaks Spanish fluently and has led, and served on, mission projects locally, nationally and internationally. He enjoys basketball, reading and movies.  He and his wife, Mónica, are blessed with five children, Carla, Ferrah, Jordan, Jessie and Zander.
