Dawson Kids Worship
A Worship Experience Designed for 1st and 2nd Graders
First and second graders are invited to attend dk worship, which is an optional worship experience for this age group, during the 8:25 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship times.
dk Worship is designed to nurture and strengthen a child spiritually, emotionally and socially. Each week dk Worship is on the same theme we are studying through the Gospel Project in Sunday Morning Life Groups. The elements used in worship are the same as those practiced by the Dawson Family of Faith – reading of Scripture, praise, prayer, and commitment.
The schedule for those that attend dk Worship:
-
8:25 a.m. Worship in the Sanctuary
Children attend worship in the Sanctuary with their families and are dismissed to dk Worship at the appropriate time. After dk Worship, children are then picked up by their parents in Room 221 East (across from the library).
-
11:00 a.m. Worship in the Sanctuary or Chapel
Children attend worship with their families, either in the Sanctuary or in the Chapel (Hispanic Congregation), and are dismissed to dk worship at the appropriate time. After dk worship, children are picked up by their parents in Room 221 East (across from the library).
