DSM Mother Daughter Retreat

Mother/Daughter Retreat 2023 is on Friday evening, February 24 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in host homes around Birmingham and from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25 at Dawson.

Our goal is to create a space for shared experience. We want to offer worship and learning for mothers and daughters in the DSM ministry in order to foster gospel unity and deeper relationships. The theme is Gospel Unity based on Ephesians 4: 1-3. We are looking to be the most God-reflecting versions of ourselves so that we can love one another through His love. How can we see our mom or daughter for who they are in the eyes of the Lord?

On Friday night, girls are invited to a grade level host home where they will share a meal and have fun together. While the girls are together, the moms are invited to a Table-style meal together in host homes of Dawson women. More details in the Info Packet once you complete registration.

Saturday will be filled with food (starting with breakfast), worship, speakers (Katie Dunn from StoryTellers Live as well as Amy Cate Smith and Lindsey Curl with Girl Talk Ministries), fun activities and games, panels and Q&A with older moms and daughters, and resources to take with you!

Mother/Daughter Retreat is $30 per person (includes three meals, coffee bar, speakers, Son's donuts in the afternoon, small gift, crafts, and more). Please register both mom and daughter, separately (you will see selections for both on registration). If you have special circumstances, you are welcome to attend part of the weekend; however, registration is one price. Also, you are welcome to come if your mom or daughter cannot come with you. Registration will close at midnight on Friday, February 17.
