Every day, children enter into the foster care system for many reasons. Some of those include abuse, neglect, caregiver addictions, or even the loss of a parent. On average, nine children enter into the foster care system every day in Alabama.

On Sunday, May 20 at 5:00 p.m. an Orphan Care Information Meeting will be held in the Chapel. This meeting will include a panel discussion with experts in the fields of fostering and adoption. Representatives from the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes, Children's Aid Society, Gateway, Heart Gallery of Alabama, and Alabama CASA will participate. Information booths will be on site.

If you would like to receive information on ways to support or even become more involved with the foster and adoption community, please fill out the interest indicator here.
