Summer Adult Bible Study -Living as Strangers in a Secular World

CO-ED Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m., Chapel

In the first century, Gentile believers were suffering and facing persecution because of their faith in Jesus. Peter wrote a letter to remind them that their heavenly hope and eternal inheritance outweighed anything faced in this life. Peter encourages believers to stand firm in their faith even in the midst of suffering. This message is applicable in our lives today as well. Regardless of our circumstances, our identity is rooted in Christ, not our situations. We are to live with an eternal perspective because our citizenship is in Heaven.
