Troop 83 100-Year Anniversary Celebration

Dawson’s Scout Troop 83 invites you to celebrate our 100-year anniversary with us. Troop 83 was founded in 1926 and Dawson’s involvement with the troop began in 1935 when Edgewood Baptist Church sponsored the Troop. Dr. L.O. Dawson’s son, Andrew Lewis Dawson, was selected as  Scoutmaster. Please join present and former Troop 83 members for a reception in the Chapel from 2:00–4:00 p.m. on. There will be a brief program, refreshments, and tours of the Scout House, located at 1201 Irving Road.
