None Like Him

Inspired by None Like Him by Jen Wilkin, this seven-week study will explore how the character of God transforms everyday life. Hosted at the Family Recreation Center, this study combines biblical learning with practical rhythms for mind, body, and soul. Each week, we will engage in a shared wellness activity, and carry two attributes of God into daily life through reflection, application, and conversation. Together, we will learn to live fully and freely in Christ because of who God is.

No Other Gods
Women Wednesdays 9:30 a.m., 254 North, September 2 - October 28
Often, idols are obvious—money, power, fame. If your heart is prioritizing any of those pursuits before God, they are taking up space meant for Him alone. In this study, learn to identify the functional gods you are serving daily and the lies they tell. Only when you learn to dethrone modern-day idols can you pursue a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus.

Everyday Theology
Women Wednesdays 6:15 p.m., 255 North, September 9 - November 4
Theology is the study of God, what He has done, is doing, and will do in the world. Our theology is the basis of our faith and touches every part of our existence. It’s for our everyday moments, questions, and decisions—the big and little, the exciting and mundane. Utilizing Mary Wiley’s Everyday Theology study, we’ll explore eight essential doctrines of the faith: Scripture, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, humanity, salvation, the church, and the end times.

Lost and Found: Making Jesus Known Everywhere
CO-ED Wednesdays 6:00 p.m., 253 North, October 7 - 28
Of the 8 billion people in the world, only about 30% identify as Christian. That means more than 5 billion people—each made in the image of God—do not yet know the saving grace of Jesus. In this study, we will explore the role of the Church in expanding the Kingdom of God in the face of this tremendous challenge. Participants will gain practical tools to pray more effectively for the lost and to share the Good News of Jesus with confidence.
