What immunizations must I have to go on an international trip?

Please visit www.cdc.gov for more information regarding international travel and disease control.

Is there financial assistance for international projects?

Yes. The majority of Dawson’s Mission Projects are subsidized. This lowers the cost for our members and encourages as many of them to participate as possible. However, additional financial assistance in the form of partial scholarships is available for members. Please contact the Minister of Missions for more information and to receive an application.

Do I need a passport?

Yes. If you are participating in an international mission project you will need to apply for your passport well in advance of the departure date. For those who currently have a passport, the expiration date needs to be at least six months after the end of the project date.

What is included in the price I pay to participate in a Project?

Transportation, housing, insurance and all team resources are included in the price. Passports and immunizations are additional costs that are not included.

How do I apply to participate on a Dawson International Project?

Contact the Minister of Missions and request a mission project application. In addition to personal information each applicant must include their personal faith story of how they became a follower of Jesus Christ.
