Kate grew up in Montgomery, Alabama, before moving to Birmingham to attend UAB, where she met her husband, Richard. She served as a preschool and children’s minister for seven years before staying home to raise their four children: Hannah, Richard, Emma Harper, and Nora Gray.

The Wrights have been a part of the Dawson Family of Faith since 2008. During their time here, Kate has found great joy in volunteering with the preschool and children’s ministries. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and playing board games with her family.
