Hispanic Ministry Associate
Kyle Young

Kyle grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi, with godly parents who shared the Gospel with him from before he was born. After becoming a Christian at age seven, he has seen God work in his life in countless ways. At age fifteen, Kyle went on a mission trip to Ecuador, at which point God planted a love for Spanish and cross-cultural ministry in his heart. Kyle attended Samford University, where he studied history and Spanish. After graduation, he moved to La Paz, Bolivia, to teach social studies at an international Christian School for a few years before the Lord led him back to Birmingham to attend Beeson Divinity School. While in seminary, he became involved with the Dawson Hispanic Congregation and the church planting efforts in Fultondale. Since graduating from Beeson with his MDiv, Kyle has continued serving on staff with the Hispanic Congregation. He oversees the youth ministry and helps with other pastoral responsibilities. Kyle also works in the admission office at Beeson Divinity School. In his free time, Kyle enjoys exercising, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
