Rachel joined Dawson with her family in 2001 and has served in Life Group Leadership, Preschool/Children's Ministry, the Sanctuary Choir, and Women's Ministry. In August 2014, she joined the Dawson staff as Ministry Assistant for the Spiritual Development Ministry. In 2019, she transferred to the Communications Team to become the Social Media Coordinator and in 2023, she moved to full-time as the Project Coordinator.

She holds a B.A. degree in English/Psychology from Samford University in Birmingham and a M.S. in Educational Technology from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She and her husband, Kevin, have two children in college. In her time away from work, she enjoys traveling, reading, Mexican food and listening to podcasts.
