Maine, Community Exegesis
January 1, 2018
Flexible Dates Community Exegesis
The decision about when and where to plant new churches is based on thoroughly understanding a community from a spiritual perspective. A structured process of community exegesis, developed by the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, is used in Maine for this purpose. Volunteers will conduct the community exegesis and submit the findings. Dates are flexible with the average time needed being three full days per exegesis, per location. These projects are extremely valuable to the church-planting work in Maine.
