One of the greatest needs in Maine involves motivating, equipping and training volunteers, and developing leaders to serve in critical areas of church ministry and management. Areas needing volunteer training and leadership development include: music & worship, children’s ministry, small groups, student ministry, outreach event follow-up, web and social media presence, trustees, elders, deacons, finances, benevolence, facilities, and more. Dawson will send specialized teams to individual churches for the purpose of training their members in specific areas of ministry based on the areas of training that each church requests. Conferences will generally be on weekends (Friday-Sunday).
