Mead, CO
July 9th – 16th Dawson Recreation Ministry will be taking a team to Mead, Colorado, to help support a Go Love Tell 2021 – 2025 partner church, Grandview Church. The church was planted in 2017 and has put on a sports camp for K – 5th grade for four years. The sports we will be featuring are: Basketball, Soccer, Football, and Cheer. This is a massive outreach to the community. In the community of Mead CO, many are unchurched and know very little if anything about the Gospel. It will be a great week of planting Gospel seeds, some of which might be the first seeds planted. After the last day of camp, we will host a picnic with all the campers, and their parents. Through this week there are many ways you can serve: Head sports instructor, group counselor, rally/worship leader etc. This is a great opportunity for anyone 18 or older (or high school student with a parent) and anyone who loves kids, sports and above all Jesus. Please prayerfully consider joining and serving God with Grandview Church.
