Spring and Fall                Instructors - The Learning Center

No Certification Required! Dawson volunteers are needed to teach at The Learning Center. The Learning Center, through a comprehensive literacy and education program, meets the needs of adults seeking to break out of the cycle of generational poverty.  Literacy/GED courses include: English, Math, Science and Social Studies.  Life Skills classes include: Faith & Finance and Men’s and Women’s Bible studies. Job Skills Training is also offered through a Ready-to-Work program. As a volunteer, you will make a tremendous impact in the life of another adult who is struggling to succeed while demonstrating the love of Christ to someone who is in need.
