Dawson volunteers are needed to serve as Mentors at The Learning Center.  Mentors share life with students, encourage and support them, hold them accountable to their academic and professional goals, celebrate completed goals, and offer spiritual advice as requested. The Learning Center, through a comprehensive literacy and education program, meets the needs of adults seeking to break out of the cycle of generational poverty.  As a volunteer, you will make a tremendous impact in the life of another adult who is struggling to succeed while demonstrating the love of Christ to someone who is in need. Mentors connect each week with students during the semester.
