Recently, our governor updated the “Safer At Home” order, allowing churches to gather in groups of any size while maintaining social distancing guidelines. We are using these guidelines, as well as other best practices found in the Alabama Department of Public Health’s “Guidelines for Places of Worship," to prepare a safe environment for on-campus worship.

While we will continue to offer our livestream each Sunday, beginning Sunday, June 14, we will gather on-campus for three identical worship services at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. These 45-minute worship gatherings in the Sanctuary will include several things to help us meet safely. Among those items you will find a reduced number of available pews, spacing tools to help worshippers maintain appropriate distance, opened entrance and exit doors, increased airflow, enhanced cleaning between services, and additional worship space in the Fellowship Hall to use as needed.

In order for us to maintain proper social distancing, all Sanctuary entrances and exits will be open so that you can go from the parking lot/deck to a pew without touching anything. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to each service. If you arrive early, please wait in your car. Valet parking will not be available.

Upon entering the Sanctuary, we strongly request that you make your way directly to an open pew. Our staff is eager to greet you and help you find a place to sit. Our staff will also be wearing masks (when not leading the service); and we encourage all worship attenders to wear a mask. Hand sanitizers will be provided at all entrances and exits for your convenience. Coffee stations and water fountains have been disabled for now.

Once the worship service concludes, you will be dismissed by section to return to your car or to fellowship with friends outside. This will allow us to clean the Sanctuary and prepare for the next service. Please note, visiting with each other is not permitted while inside the Sanctuary.

We dearly love and appreciate our church family members who are 65 years or older and all who are especially at high risk to COVID-19. As much as we look forward to seeing you in person, we strongly encourage you to continue to participate in our services online at this time.

If you or someone in your household has been sick within 48 hours of Sunday morning, please stay home and worship via live stream at to allow time for full recovery. All age groups will be with us in the Sanctuary as there will be no childcare, nursery, or on-campus programming during this time. Life Groups will continue to meet virtually.

Thank you in advance for helping us and serving one another by embracing these plans. We thank the Lord for allowing us to resume gathering together in worship.
