May 5 Family Faith Talk: What was the name of the man who shared? (Barnabas.) What did Jesus’ friends share? (Food and clothes.) We can help others by sharing with them! Sharing means giving things to people who need them. Sharing can also mean letting others use our things. What can you share with someone who is hungry? (Food.) What can you share when we are playing with blocks? (Blocks. Toy people.)
May 12 Family Faith Talk: What did Phillip tell the man about Jesus? (Jesus loves him. Jesus is God’s Son.) We can help others by telling them about Jesus! We can tell them Jesus loves them. Who you tell? You can tell your mom that Jesus loves her.
May 19 Family Faith Talk: What did the people do to be kind? (Made sure the women got enough to eat. Jesus’ friends chose seven special helpers to give the food to the women.) We can be kind and help others, too. When can you be kind to your mom? Your dad? Your brothers or sisters?
May 26 Family Faith Talk: What happened when Paul met Jesus? (Paul was blind for a while. Paul became Jesus’ friend.) Even though Paul used to be mean to Jesus’ friends, God still loved Paul! And God loves us, too. God shows His love in many ways. God gives us many good things that show His love. What are some of the good things God has given you? (Parents who love me. Food to eat. A home.)
