At Dawson, we strive to serve and encourage individuals from all walks of life. Our Special Needs Ministry is designed to effectively share the love of Jesus and include people with physical or learning differences and challenges through activities and programs for people of all ages.

Accessibility:  For a wheelchair accessible entrance to the Sanctuary, please park in the Senior Adult Parking lot by the West building, and take the elevator up to the Sanctuary level. Valet parking is also available on Manhattan Street behind the West Building. From that entrance, go straight down the hallway and take the last right to get to the elevator.  Volunteers are available for those who need assistance with a wheelchair.

Age-Specific Ministries:

Our Hearts & Hands Ministry (ages birth to 18 years) provides a special Sunday morning experience during all three worship services with a focus on caring for the safety and well-being of each child. For more information about Hearts & Hands, please contact Ruth Ann Turner, Hearts & Hands Coordinator, at rturner@dawsonchurch.org.

Our Adult Special Needs Ministry offers programs and activities outside of the church walls, as well as transportation service to and from Dawson for adults with special needs. For more information about our Adult Special Needs Ministry, please contact Debbie Moss, Minister of Health & Wellness, at dmoss@dawsonchurch.org.
