Kara Fincher, a Mississippi native, moved to Birmingham to attend Samford University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Worship Leadership. Kara worked full-time in a marketing position while she completed the Master of Arts in Theological Studies program at Beeson Divinity School. Kara is a worship leader and has a unique passion for congregational worship. She began serving with Dawson College Ministry in 2019 and accepted the call as an Associate Minister in August 2020. Kara is married to Caleb and has a precious daughter named Grace. Kara and Caleb spend their free time co-writing and producing worship music.
