MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY: THAT'S NOT ACTUALLY IN THE BIBLE

Beginning September 6, 11:00 a.m., Chapel & 6:00 p.m., Social Hall
Join us on Wednesdays as we discover biblical truths that undo common misconceptions and sayings we may have accepted as truths. During the semester, Pastor David (and several other Dawson Ministry Staff members) will shed light on what the Bible actually teaches us. Some topics include:

  • God Helps Those Who Help Themselves
  • God Won’t Put More On You Than You Can Bear
  • When God Shuts A Door, He Opens A Window
  • Christians Shouldn’t Judge
  • Everything Happens For A Reason
  • Time Heals All Wounds

Please join us as we discover what the Bible really says about these topics.

August Memory Verse

Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

MEALS FOR THE LEARNING CENTER

Classes will resume at The Learning Center this August. One of the ways we provide for our students is ensuring they don’t try to learn on an empty stomach! By serving lunch each class day, we meet the physical needs of our students and make it easier for them to find success in the classroom. If you would be interested in serving this ministry by providing lunch for our students, you can sign up using our Take Them A Meal list at dawsonchurch.org/tlclunch. Specific needs and suggestions for meals are provided on the Take Them A Meal site.
