Together in Giving & Serving
During 2023, the generous giving of the Dawson Family of Faith has fulfilled our mission statement—To Become and Help Others Become Faithful Servants of Jesus Christ—in many ways and has allowed the ministries of Dawson to impact lives with the Gospel.
December 31 is the last day the IRS permits contributions to be given to Dawson for the 2023 tax year. Gifts must be received by the church or postmarked no later than midnight, December 31, 2023. For your convenience, the church office will be open on Friday, December 29, from 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. The Church Office will not be open on Saturday, December 30. If you are unable to get your contribution to the church by 6:00 p.m. on December 29, or have it postmarked by midnight, December 31, please call 205-871-7324 and we will assist you in any way that we can. Thank you for your faithfulness in giving to God’s ministries through Dawson in 2023 and your financial commitments for 2024.

We all have questions about death and the life beyond. Despite the strong assurance the Bible gives us about life beyond the grave, Christians are often troubled by many questions related to death. What will happen on the day of judgment? Will we have bodies in heaven? Will there be rewards in heaven? Will we recognize and truly know our loved ones? During this semester, Pastor David (and several other Dawson Ministry Staff members) will shed light on these questions and many more as we look to God’s word to see what the Bible teaches about dying, death, and life beyond the grave.
