What's Happening

MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY

Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m., Chapel and 6:00 p.m., Social Hall
We all have questions about death and the life beyond. Despite the strong assurance the Bible gives us about life beyond the grave, Christians are often troubled by many questions related to death. What will happen on the day of judgment? Will we have bodies in heaven? Will there be rewards in heaven? Will we recognize and truly know our loved ones? During this semester, Pastor David (and several other Dawson Ministry Staff members) will shed light on these questions and many more as we look to God’s word to see what the Bible teaches about dying, death, and life beyond the grave.

WHAT'S IN YOUR ATTIC?

Dawson will celebrate our 100-year anniversary in April 2025. As part of this celebration, we are looking for treasures and memorabilia to help us share the story of God’s faithfulness to Dawson over the last 100 years. Some things we are looking for include items from GAs (Girls in Action) such as crowns, scepters, and photographs, RAs (Royal Ambassadors) like badges, walking sticks, certificates, and photographs. Any certificates from Vacation Bible Schools, Sunday School Class photos, programs from choir tours or mission trips, and pictures from other camps or other events.

Please bring your items to the Church Office beginning Sunday, February 4 or anytime during our regular weekday office hours. NOTE: In order for us to return these treasures, you must label all items with your name and phone number. For more information, please contact Jan Jones at janjones2436@gmail.com.
