Thank you for serving again with minors at Dawson!

Because Dawson strongly affirms a culture of teaching God’s Word in a child-safe environment, every person who wishes to serve in any capacity involving children ages birth through 19 years, must go through a screening and training process. We are grateful for your time and cooperation in taking these steps to assure the safety of our children. Please let me know if you have any questions along the way.

STEP ONE: CHILD PROTECTION AGREEMENT

Please read the Dawson Child Protection First! policy and then complete THIS online Child Protection Agreement.

STEP TWO: BACKGROUND CHECK

Please complete THIS online background check.

STEP THREE: MINISTRYSAFE ONLINE TRAINING

In keeping with Dawson's culture of the importance of child safety, all pastors, staff, and volunteers serving with children and students, both on and off campus, must complete Awareness Training. This state-of-the-art tool has been designed by MinistrySafe to inform, educate, and equip people in child protection safety. The one-hour training includes a short 25-question exam at the end.

Within a few days, you will receive an email from MinistrySafe to access the training videos. After taking and passing the 25-question quiz, MinistrySafe will send Dawson a certificate of completion to keep with your file. If you do not receive a passing score, you will be required to re-take the Awareness Training. A certificate of completion MUST be received in order to serve in any role involving children ages birth through 19 years.

Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.
