COLLIDE CHOIRS SPRING MUSICAL

Wednesday, March 20, 6:30 p.m., Chapel
In a galaxy far away, and in a future not too distant, the crew of spaceship Star Quest J-316 is on a mission: bringing the Word of God to people all across the galaxy. As they travel from planet to planet, they learn the importance of hiding God’s Word in their hearts—especially in the face of evil.

On March 20, the Collide Choirs will present “Star Quest” in the Chapel at 6:30 p.m. Mark your calendar to come and support the Collide Choirs (Grades 1st-5th) as they share the importance of God’s Word in a fun and innovative way.

March Memory Verse

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience..

Will you serve with us at KidLife? Monday–Thursday, June 3–6, 9:00 a.m.–Noon

KidLife, Dawson’s version of VBS, will be held on campus June 3–6. Our theme this year is “Pass the Torch,” and we will need hundreds of volunteers to join our Summer Olympics Team to teach preschoolers and children to let their lights shine as they Love Jesus, Believe the Bible, Serve others, and Share the good news about Jesus. First time to volunteer? New volunteers are placed with veteran KidLife teachers. Classes rotate through various activities throughout the morning, and all training, curriculum, and supplies will be provided for you. Adults and students can learn more about KidLife and sign up to serve at dawsonchurch.org/KidLife.

HOLY WEEK AT DAWSON 2024

This Easter season, we will have four unique services throughout Holy Week to help us remember and celebrate Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Palm Sunday - March 24
On Palm Sunday, we will celebrate and shout “Hosanna!” to Jesus the King as we remember His triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

Good Friday - March 29
This Tenebrae Service, (Tenebrae means darkness in Latin) led by the Sanctuary Orchestra, will weave together instrumental music, Scripture, and moments of silence to help us reflect on Christ’s death on the cross. Worship begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Good Friday _ Hispanic Service
Dawson’s Hispanic Congregation will observe a special Good Friday Service in the Chapel at 7:00 p.m.

Easter Sunday - March 31
During our three Sunday morning services we will celebrate with thankful hearts that Christ rose from the grave, defeating death and sin for each of us and is alive!
