This year for Lent, you are invited to meditate on the grace of Jesus. There is nothing we can do to earn God’s grace, it is a gift. Through 40 daily meditations, Paul David Tripp's 40 Days of Grace explores the role grace plays in the everyday life of the Christian. You'll be reminded that God, in his infinite mercy, can radically transform even the weakest person by the life-changing power of his grace through his Son, Jesus Christ. You’re invited to step away from the noise and into rest at our half-day Quiet Retreat at the Library in the Forest—a peaceful, soul-soothing space created for women to slow down and be renewed. We’ll begin by gathering with a small group of women for gentle connection, then move into unhurried time alone with the Lord through Scripture, prayer, and reflection. As Jesus invites us, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Come as you are, and let Him meet you there. Prayer is our priority and has always been at the heart of who we are as a church. It is how we listen, how we respond, and how we trust God to move in ways we cannot manufacture ourselves. Preschoolers and their families are invited to a Praise Party with Yancy. We’ll have a time to worship God with our favorite Christian artist, closing with a praise parade. Then we’ll have lots of fun with family and friends as we enjoy inflatables, games, snacks, and crafts. Doors to the FRC will open at 4:45 p.m. This is a free event.
