Together in Giving & Serving
For more than 40 years, people have come to Dawson for the beautiful experience of worship led by the Sanctuary Choir & Sanctuary Orchestra and Combined Student Choirs. Culminating with the candlelit singing of Silent Night, this evening of worship is anticipated each year by our community, making it a perfect time to invite a teacher, neighbor, or friend. This year there will be one worship opportunity on Saturday, December 20 at 5:00 p.m. at the Wright Center on the campus of Samford University. Doors open for seating 30 minutes prior to the service. Learn more at dawsonchurch.org/Candlelight.

Help us make the shop at Kids Connection a well-stocked and welcoming place for parents and caregivers. On Mondays and Wednesdays, volunteers process donations and restock shop inventory. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the second Saturdays of each month, volunteers help the parents and caregivers select items for their families’ needs and also offer prayer support. To volunteer, please visit dawsonchurch.org/serve. Any amount of time you can give is appreciated!

Every year, Dawson members and Life Groups provide Christmas gifts for more than 100 children. This year you can help local children as you purchase new items for Kids Connection families. There will be 10 different size and age-group lists for you to consider. These shopping lists will be located in the FRC Foyer on Sunday mornings. Simply follow the instructions on your list and return the new gifts to the Gathering Room (1st Floor North) anytime from now until November 21. Please note that multiple children may receive the items you purchase instead of a single individual. For more information, please contact Ben Hale.

Thanks to the power of a simple shoebox, millions of children will hear the Gospel this year. Stop by the table in the FRC lobby on Sunday morning to pick up a brochure and a flat shoebox. You can also pick up brochures and boxes at the Church Office on weekdays. All prepared shoeboxes must be turned in to the Gathering Room on or before November 16.
