Andy Cartee joined the Dawson Family of Faith in March 2011. During his time at Dawson, Andy has led ministries for young adults, college students, marriages, and medical professionals. His passion is creating spaces where people feel welcomed, known, and encouraged to grow in their faith and know Jesus.

Before coming to Dawson, Andy served as a student minister for more than sixteen years in Auburn, Chattanooga, Navarre Beach, Florida, and Winter Park, Florida. He holds a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University and a Master’s in Theological Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. Andy is a certified trainer and facilitator of the Prepare Enrich marriage assessment and has completed Level 2 training in marriage counseling through The Gottman Institute.

Born and raised in Auburn, Andy is married to his wife, Keri, and they have two children, Caleb and Chloe. Outside of ministry, Andy enjoys home projects, pickleball, working out, fishing, and spending time with friends. He also enjoys being active and staying busy, which works out well since sitting still has never been one of his strengths.
