Claude Harrison was raised in Mobile, AL. He was a Cub and then a Boy Scout, achieving the rank of Eagle. During high school Claude worked two challenging summers on staff at the Mobile Area Council’s Camp Pushmataha near Citronelle, AL. He has lived in Birmingham since graduating from Auburn in Electrical Engineering and beginning work with Alabama Power Company. He was baptized at Homewood’s Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in 1976 and later met and married his wife Robin there. Robin and Claude have two children: Jessica, and Michael who is a 2012 Dawson Troop 83 Eagle Scout. They enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking and snow skiing.
