Dan Mullis

Dan Mullis serves as the Associate Pastor - Music & Worship for the Dawson Family of Faith, leading a variety of instrumental and choral ensembles in worship and special ministry projects. His passion in ministry is to encourage and equip musicians to connect to God’s story and mission wherever they are given the opportunity. Dan holds a Master of Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies and a BM, Church Music from Belmont University. He is currently earning his Doctor of Worship Studies in Ethnomusicology from Liberty University.
Aside from working with musicians and singers at Dawson, Dan enjoys assisting local schools, teaching online courses, and playing with the "Homewood Pops." He and his wife, Carrie, have two sons, Caleb and Ethan. When not in ministry together, they enjoy traveling, biking, camping, and hiking.
