Keith Vinson has served as Director of Information Systems at Dawson since 2000. Before joining the staff at Dawson, Keith worked as an electrical engineer, software developer, and systems test engineer in the telecommunications and electronics fields. He received his BSEE from Auburn University in 1981, and his MSEE from the University of Tennessee in 1987. He is currently a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Alabama and he was awarded a U.S. Patent in 2004. Keith is happily married to Miriam and has two wonderful daughters, Jen (married) and Caroline (married), and three really wonderful grandchildren: Mia, Kai, and Ryleigh Beth. His hobbies include singing (tenor), metal-working, ham radio, motorcycling, and "just tinkering."
