Sufficient: Our All-Sufficient God

Isaiah 40:13–14; Acts 17:24–25

This week, Pastor David shared a message about our all-sufficient God. He showed us:

  1. The Revelation Of An All-Sufficient God
  2. The Comfort Of An All-Sufficient God
  • God’s All-Sufficiency Is Our Security In An Insecure World
  • God’s All-Sufficiency Is Our Hope In An Insecure World

GOING DEEPER:

  • In Isaiah 40:13–14, God comforted His people, through the prophet, by reminding them of how He is different from them. Unlike His human creation, God is incomparably powerful over all things. How is this a comfort to you today?
  • When are you tempted to trust your own abilities more than you trust God's? Why is that a dangerous way to live?
  • Pastor David shared that God’s all-sufficiency is our security in an insecure world. While our lives can change in a blink of an eye, God never blinks. How are you encouraged by this truth?
  • Instead of being the product of a lack of discipline, prayerlessness is often pridefulness. In what area of your life do you tell God, “I got this”? What is one thing you can do to rely more on God’s sufficiency and less on your own in this area?
