Forgiveness: I Just Can’t Forgive
This week, Pastor David concluded the sermon series on Forgiveness by sharing:

GOING DEEPER:
- As we pursue holiness and forgiveness, we need to remember God’s inexhaustible grace, especially when we fail to live in the light of His grace. When do you find yourself tempted to not live in the light of God's grace? What is your response to that temptation?
- When we do not forgive, we are in danger of letting the root of bitterness grow in us. Bitterness is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. What is the bitterness you feel hopeless to overcome?
- Pastor David shared that we are prone to lose sight of the debt that has been forgiven for us, and when we struggle to forgive, we must fix our eyes on Jesus. What is the next step on the path of forgiveness that God is calling you to take this week?
- In the end, forgiving others and asking for forgiveness is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. How does this truth encourage you as you both ask for and give forgiveness? How are you encouraged by the truth that God gives you the power to forgive others?
