Family Faith Talks Conversation Starters:

August 13 Family Faith Talk: What are some of the things God made? (Trees. Daytime. Nighttime. Water. Growing things.) God made the world and everything in it. I’m thankful that God made the world. What would you like to thank God for making? Children respond. What are some ways we can show our thanks to God? (Pray to God. Sing songs about good things God made.)

August 20 Family Faith Talk: What did God make to live in the ocean? (Fish.) God made all the different kinds of fish. God also made all the birds and all the animals. We can enjoy all the good things God made. What is a way we can show our thanks to God for all the good things He has made? (Sing songs about God. Pray to God and say “Thank You.”)

August 27 Family Faith Talk: Who are the people from our Bible story that God made? (Adam and Eve.) God made all the people in the world! I’m glad that God made people and I’m glad that God made you and me. Who are some of the people you would like to thank God for making?

September 3 Family Faith Talk: Why did Adam and Eve have to leave their garden? (They did not obey God.) Adam and Eve did not obey God’s rule. But God still loved Adam and Eve, even though they disobeyed Him. God showed His love by sending Jesus. We can thank God for sending Jesus. What else can we thank God for? (Family. Home. Friends. The world.)
