September 10 Family Faith Talk: Why did Noah build the big boat? (God told him to build it.) God helped Noah by telling him how tall to make the boat and how long to make the boat. Noah obeyed God and built the boat exactly the way God told him to. God helped Noah obey. God will help us obey and do good things, too! What good things can we do? (Help a younger brother or sister. Take turns with a friend.)
September 17 Family Faith Talk: What did Noah do that was right and good? (He made sure he, his family, and all the animals and birds were safe in the boat.) Making sure his family and all the animals were safe in the boat was a hard job. But God helped Noah do good things, even though it was hard. And God will help us do good things, too. What are some good things you can do today?
September 24 Family Faith Talk: What was the big job Noah and his family had to do? (Take care of all the animals in the boat.) Noah and his family helped each other give the animals food to eat and water to drink. They did their best work. Doing their best work showed that they loved God. What is a way you can help others today at your home? What can you do to help others when your family eats lunch? (Help carry dishes. Help clean up afterward.)
October 1 Family Faith Talk: God promised never again to cover the whole earth with water. What did God put in the sky to remind everyone of His promise? (A rainbow.) God was glad Noah and his family did good things. God wants us to do good things, too. God helps us to do good things, and we can thank God for His help. What are some of the ways we can show our thanks to God? (Learn about God by listening to His word. Pray to God. Singing songs about God.)
