TABLE

Some of our most meaningful and memorable moments happen around a table, both ordinary and extraordinary. It may be a holiday gathering, a special event or celebration, dinner on the go, or simply grabbing coffee with a friend. Something special happens when we gather around a table. That is especially true of Christ-centered table gatherings. Christ brings a certain element to the table that we often miss in the monotony of ordinary life—His gospel. Here at Dawson, we have monthly opportunities for women to do just that. The invitation: Come to the table, engage in meaningful fellowship, and experience the love of God. Women take time away from the hard and hectic schedules of daily life to gather in homes, restaurants, or coffee shops for intentional and encouraging gospel-centered conversations.

HANDMADE

Join us for Handmade, Christ-Centered communities through hand crafts. On Tuesdays, ladies work on group projects to minister to others or simply bring any personal handiwork projects to work on (knitting, sewing, crocheting, etc.) for a sweet time of fellowship and prayer in the North Building. On Thursday mornings, join the “claydies” for fellowship and pottery in the FRC Craft Room.

HANDWRITTEN

Our Handwritten group supports the ministry of Dawson through note writing. These women uplift, encourage, and show Christ’s love through handwritten notes to individuals at Dawson and in the community who are in need of prayer, support, or celebration. The Handwritten group gathers three times a year on the church campus to pray for individuals we will be writing to and to receive a handwritten kit to write notes on your own time. Approximate commitment is writing a set of 10–12 notes, three times a year.
