Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Together in Giving & Serving
The church recently completed a full assessment of Camp Dawson. The assessment considered usage, needed repairs with costs, annual budget allotment for Camp Dawson, and liability associated with the camp. Based on this assessment, a recommendation has been made by the Finance and Facilities Teams to sell Camp Dawson. The proceeds from the sale would be used for an intentional mission strategy over the next five years. The Deacons are considering this recommendation. We will have two informational meetings to discuss this recommendation and the assessment of Camp Dawson. These meetings will be held on Sunday, August 16 at 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 26 at 5:30 p.m. in the Social Hall. You are invited to attend one of these meetings to ask questions and learn more.

College is a season of growth, maturity, and discernment. In DCM, we believe intentional discipleship during these years plays a vital role in shaping students not only throughout college but for the rest of their lives. We invite you to prayerfully consider leading a small group of college students for the Fall 2026–Spring 2027 year. Groups will be gender-specific and consist of 3–4 students, creating an environment where meaningful relationships and spiritual growth can flourish. If you are interested in serving as a discipleship group leader, please visit dawsonchurch.org/college or contact dcm@dawsonchurch.org for more information. We would love the opportunity to partner with you as we seek together to be continually formed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
